In service plumbing, we offer all plumbing fixture repair and installation, hydro jetting, gas piping repair and installation, sump and ejector pumps repair and installation, battery back-up pump systems, booster pumps, video sewer inspection, drain cleaning, leak detection, pipe installation and repair, and much more.
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Service Plumber to join our team and perform on-site plumbing services to our clients in Chicago, IL. The Service Plumber's job is to troubleshoot plumbing issues, install and repair plumbing fixtures, and educate clients on proper plumbing maintenance. They will also provide estimates, coordinate with team members, and ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
Qualifications
- Must be in the Local 130 Plumbers union
- High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent journeyman experience
- Demonstrable experience in commercial and service plumbing, installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and make appropriate repairs and recommendations for preventative maintenance
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift heavy items
- Dependable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Valid plumbing license required, for the state of Illinois or Chicago

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
