Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance.
Diagnose mechanical failures using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently.
Repair or replace appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration components, and HVAC/R systems to maintain optimal climate control.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
Lead or assist with construction projects related to facility upgrades or equipment installation, ensuring safety compliance.
Perform regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues before they cause operational disruptions.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance.
Service technician experience with troubleshooting complex mechanical issues efficiently.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately.
Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology.
Experience in construction or facility upgrades is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or contractors when needed.
