Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose mechanical failures using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently.
- Repair or replace appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration components, and HVAC/R systems to maintain optimal climate control.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Lead or assist with construction projects related to facility upgrades or equipment installation, ensuring safety compliance.
- Perform regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues before they cause operational disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance.
- Service technician experience with troubleshooting complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology.
- Experience in construction or facility upgrades is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or contractors when needed.
