Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our residential property. Your expertise will help create a comfortable, functional environment for residentto call home. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our properties through proactive repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Preform snow removal to maintain the safety of the property during winter weather events.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems.
- Perform residential painting touch ups to uphold property aesthetics and structural integrity.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and document repairs.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Lead or support team efforts in supervising contractors while fostering a collaborative work environment focused on customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or residential property maintenance with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Skilled in plumbing and general carpentry or handyman tasks.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for managing work orders and maintenance records.
- Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting; knowledge of electrical codes is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
