EHC Inc. is an Electrical, Heating, and Cooling company providing residential and light commercial services throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Our work includes electrical service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, service upgrades, panel replacements, generators, EV chargers, dedicated circuits, small remodels, knob-and-tube work, HVAC wiring, mini-split installations, heat pump systems, condensers, air handlers, boilers, and general heating and cooling service support.
We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded Licensed Electrician with HVAC experience to join our team. This position is a good fit for someone who is tired of the new construction grind, wants more variety in their day, and is looking to be part of a company where their experience, input, and voice are valued.
The right candidate should be able to work independently, communicate clearly with the office and management team, and take pride in clean, professional, code-compliant work. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in occupied homes, interacting with clients, troubleshooting problems, and helping provide practical repair and installation solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform residential electrical service, repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.
Install and service panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, EV chargers, generators, dedicated circuits, and related electrical systems.
Support HVAC installations and service work, including wiring mini-splits, condensers, air handlers, heat pumps, boilers, thermostats, disconnects, surge protection, and control wiring.
- Diagnose electrical and HVAC-related issues in the field.
- Complete work in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
- Communicate with customers, office staff, and management regarding job status, findings, recommendations, and next steps.
- Document work with photos, notes, and job updates.
- Work independently while also being part of a team.
Requirements:
- Valid electrical license required.
- Several years of residential electrical experience.
- HVAC experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and HVAC systems.
- Comfortable working in residential homes and communicating with customers.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls or installation tasks.

This is not a new construction position. Most of our work is service, repair, replacement, upgrade, and installation work in residential and light commercial properties.

Starting pay starts at $40/hour with additional pay considered if you have any of the following:
-Osha 10
-NICET Certified (Fire Alarms)(a PLUS)
-EPA Certification
-Fire Alarm Skills & Experience (a PLUS)
-Master Electrician License
-Mitsubishi & Fujitsu Experience
The hired candidate will be given their own EHC Inc. pick up truck or van to take into the field.
*Please note this is NOT a supervisor/foreman position, but yet a position for you to be hands on in the field and trusted to work solo.
