Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems and ensure proper operation of associated components.
Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and ensure system safety and efficiency.
Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks.
Operate equipment repair tools including welding equipment and other mechanical tools to restore system functionality.
Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to uphold safety standards and operational excellence.
Drive company vehicles responsibly while performing field service duties at various client sites.
Support ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized HVAC/R equipment as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems or related mechanical fields.
Strong construction background with knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles.
Familiarity with plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and appliance repair.
Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment including air conditioning units, ventilation fans, ductwork, and mechanical controls.
Hands-on experience with electrical testing using tools like ohmmeters; ability to read electrical schematics accurately.
Field service experience working directly at client sites with property maintenance responsibilities.
Welding skills and experience with equipment repair are highly desirable.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable operating company vehicles safely.
Knowledge of mechanical systems such as boilers or other heating devices; mechanic experience is a plus.
