Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, experience with heat pumps, package units, split systems, mini-splits, and air handlers.
- Install new AC , troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical issues.Contact Technical support as needed.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
- Perform mechanical work using tools, welding equipment, and other specialized instruments
- Maintain detailed service records, complete service tickets and required documentation accurately.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all field service activities while communicating effectively with team members and clients
- Participate in on-call and emergency service rotations as needed.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience preferred.
- EPA Certification required.
- Experience working with home warranty companies is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical diagrams accurately
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and appliance repair technique
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles safely
- Experience in field service environments with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
