1099 Welder – Oilfield (Independent Contractor)
Permian Basin | Project‑Based | Bring Your Own Rig
We’re looking for a tough, experienced 1099 Welder who can handle fast‑paced oilfield work and deliver clean, reliable welds in the field. This is contract work — you run your own rig, your own tools, your own schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Structural, pipe, and fabrication welding on oilfield and facility projects
- Field repairs, tie‑ins, and new construction
- Read drawings, measure, cut, and burn with accuracy
- Work safely, independently, and efficiently in rugged field conditions
What You Need
- Strong oilfield welding experience
- Your own welding rig, tools, PPE, and transportation
- Ability to work without hand‑holding
- Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Pay
- Competitive 1099 contractor rates based on experience and scope
- Paid per project or hourly depending on assignment
- No benefits (independent contractor role)
