Electrical Engineer

6+ month contract
$70-$82/hour W2
Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in system design, maintenance, and compliance for AC/DC distribution systems in large-scale industrial applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in system engineering, design engineering, installation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting for AC and DC distribution systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical for schematics and component layout.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and compliance requirements including IEEE Standards, NEC, NRC Regulatory Guides.
- Understanding of PLC programming tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience interfacing with compliance laboratories such as UL, NFPA, NEC.
Responsibilities:
- Design architecture and component selection for power and control cabinets.
- Integrate PLCs into machine control panels.
- Create electrical system documentation including schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Debug power distribution systems for capital equipment.
- Implement PLC logic and perform testing.
