We are currently hiring Welders with starting hourly pay ranging from $17 to $30 per hour, based on experience. Marine welding experience is not required — we welcome candidates with backgrounds in industrial, structural, automotive, or general fabrication welding. JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Welder

EMPLOYER: Engineered Yacht Solutions

DEPARTMENT: Welding

REPORTS TO: Project Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

TIG and MIG Welding of Aluminum and Steel & Stainless Steel
Work on welding/fabrication projects in the shop and on vessels.
Travel to vessels when necessary to complete work.
Read blueprints and specifications to plan work and fabrication layout
Performs hand grinding and polishing, prepare materials
Exceeds quality standards
Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting
Work safely & maintain work area with high standards of housekeeping.
Heating – Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to lead a team and assist the Project Manager.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
