Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG welding experience, with TIG welding experience preferred. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal materials and components.
Utilize TIG welding techniques when required or preferred for specific projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials to specifications.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience with MIG welding is required.
TIG welding experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing or shop environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with metal fabrication and assembly.
Ability to use grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools.
Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
