Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of materials within our cutting department. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. The Material Handler will operate various types of equipment and ensure that all materials are handled properly to support our production and distribution processes.

** Must have Overhead Crane Experience**

Duties

Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage.
Utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts, vaccum lift and overhead crane to safely movement of goods within the facility.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a production facility environment is preferred.
Proficiency in operating overhead cranes
Familiar with Caliper, Micrometers and tape measures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activities throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
