Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Duties

Measure and assess roofing projects using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs
Install new roofing systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet project specifications
Repair or replace damaged roofing components including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or flat roofing materials
Prepare surfaces by framing or applying insulation, ensuring proper adhesion and weatherproofing
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal sheets, or concrete forms safely and efficiently
Apply caulking, sealants, or other waterproofing materials to prevent leaks and enhance durability
Conduct restoration work on aging roofs or damaged structures by utilizing masonry, welding, or remodeling skills as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing installation and repair on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction processes
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise project execution
Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment
Knowledge of various roofing materials including shingles, metal panels, stucco finishes, tile laying and flat roof systems
Familiarity with construction estimating to assist in project planning and material procurement
Experience with carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry (masonry work), plumbing integration, welding, and heavy lifting is advantageous
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and on construction sites
Ability to interpret schematics for metal stud framing or other structural components involved in roofing projects
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for versatile project support
