Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Foundation Pro to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of foundation installation and structural fabrication, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical assembly will be vital in delivering durable foundations that form the backbone of our construction projects. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide foundation fabrication and assembly processes
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters to shape and assemble foundation components
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), welding, and soldering to join sheet metal, pipes, and structural elements according to ASME codes & standards
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure accurate fabrication and alignment of components
- Conduct rigging and crane operations safely for lifting heavy foundation materials and equipment into position
- Fabricate ductwork, piping, and structural supports with mechanical knowledge and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations on-site
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of foundation work and structural fabrication
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, welding; experience with plasma cutting is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement devices
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation safety protocols, and pipe threading techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in machining processes such as press brake operation and plasma cutting
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Valid certification or experience in forklift operation; familiarity with ASME codes & standards is preferred
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent attention to detail; commitment to safety standards at all times

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
