Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, refrigeration, and appliance systems to ensure optimal performance.
Repair or replace faulty equipment components, including motors, belts, filters, thermostats, compressors, and electrical wiring.
Conduct HVAC system maintenance such as air conditioning repairs, refrigerant recharges, and system calibrations to maintain climate control standards.
Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Lead or collaborate with team members during complex repairs or installations to ensure timely completion while maintaining safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
Hands-on experience with equipment repair including motors, compressors, electrical systems, and plumbing components.
Familiarity with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigerant handling procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical diagrams.
Strong construction or building maintenance background is preferred for supporting renovation projects.
