Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems following schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other maintenance instruments
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate installation
- Perform plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration setups when necessary
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC equipment including appliance repair and general mechanical repairs
- Operate a driver vehicle safely for transporting equipment or parts to job sites
- Use welding techniques for custom fittings or repairs as needed in complex installations or maintenance projects
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues on-site, provide solutions, and perform routine maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliance repair
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other maintenance instruments
- Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot efficiently on-site under time constraints
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between job sites
- Welding certification or experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics clearly; excellent problem-solving skills are essential
- Prior experience working with property maintenance or building mechanical systems is a plus
