We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team!
You will be responsible for providing sales and operations support for the HVAC service department. The position is open to experienced HVAC service professionals and experienced administrative professionals with technical capability. Compensation would be commensurate with experience and capabilities.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ***MUST HAVES*** THOROGHLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY AS WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING CANDIDATES THAT DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA:
- Candidate MUST have prior HVAC Service Technician experience (Senior Level) and have a thorough understanding of the HVAC Trade. We are ONLY considering candidates with several years of DEMONSTRATED experience --- this means service helper, apprentice / helper level or (newer) HVAC Service Technician candidates WILL NOT be considered for this position.
- Candidate will be tested (via written exam) to understand and validate their HVAC industry knowledge.
- Candidate must possess their own tools.
- Candidate must possess Universal EPA
- Candidate must possess TDLR card
In addition to the above, please be mindful of the following:
- Candidate MUST pass a thorough criminal, driving (history) and previous employment background check. No exceptions.
- Candidate MUST be able to produce original identification documents ex. Driver's License, SSC, Birth Certificate etc.
- Candidate absolutely MUST BE available Mon-Fri between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm. We must be able to depend on this individual day in / day out.
Responsibilities:
- Providing superior support to our field technicians and our long-standing customer base
- Understanding IF there's an opportunity for a sale rather than FORCING a sale
- Work invoicing and any discrepancies therein
- Perform warranty work by deadline
- Must be familiar with HVAC parts and how to quickly I.D. them (you will need to order them through various means, methods and tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Experience with Service Titan or similar scheduling system
- Document and update customer records within Service Titan based on interaction or any work performed
- Must have exceptional HVAC Service tech experience
- Develop and maintain technician training strategy and work instruction

- Must be an exceptional communicator, coach and mentor

- Understand how to prioritize and relay to Service Technicians
- Deep understanding and in-depth knowledge of the HVAC industry
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and move with a sense of urgency

- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
