Duties

Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments using hand tools and power tools.
Conduct welding tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle structures accurately.
Apply auto painting techniques, including airless paint spraying, to achieve flawless finishes that match original colors.
Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision.
Assist in auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and restoring vintage or damaged vehicles with attention to detail.
Use auto estimating software to assess damages, prepare repair plans, and communicate timelines effectively with customers.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, sanding, and other physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, and auto glass installation methods.
Experience with auto estimating software and understanding of automotive repair processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various shop equipment efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and timelines.
Automotive repair or mechanic experience is a plus; certification in auto body repair or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
