Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment related to HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and designs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns related to HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace components such as compressors, motors, pumps, and valves.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the construction or service industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and schematics.
- Experience in field service operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform equipment repairs on various HVAC components including boilers and air conditioning units.
- Welding skills are a plus for certain repair tasks.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for travel between job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $24.05 - $27.00 per hour
