Position Overview: The Lead Plumber is responsible for repairing plumbing and heating systems. Tasks include troubleshooting systems, replacing malfunctioning fixtures, and installing new pipes. Other tasks include providing excellent customer service to residential customers while driving a company supplied van.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose plumbing problems, determine the best course of action, and provide repair options to customers.

Perform repairs and installations of plumbing fixtures, pipes, fittings, and appliances, ensuring all work is completed to code and in accordance with industry standards.

Install and repair plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.

Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass, and lead, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay, and plastic, using hand tools and power tools.

Inspect plumbing systems and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.

Educate customers on proper maintenance and care of plumbing systems to prevent future problems.

Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities, including materials used and time spent on each job.

Collaborate with team members and dispatch to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of service requests.
Minimum Skills and Experience Required
