We are seeking an experienced commercial Plumbing estimator to join our company.
In this role you will be responsible for estimating commercial and some multi residential projects which will included the following duties and requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoff's using mechanical estimating software.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and vendors.
- Generate detailed proposals to clarify the scope of work included in the estimate pricing.
- Occasionally attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to better understand project scope.
- Attend meetings with GC for scope reviews, cost saving ideas etc.
- Work with the PM once job is awarded and possibly some PM work.
Candidate must have the following qualifications.
- Five years of estimating experience.
- Self motivated, detailed-oriented.
- Be able to communicate and work with others.
- Must have strong computer skills, estimating software experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
