Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sheet metal Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of various sheet metal components, including ductwork, vents, and other building systems. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to determine the appropriate sheet metal components and installation requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal materials to fit specific installation needs
- Assemble and install sheet metal components, such as ductwork, vents, and other building systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as HVAC technicians and plumbers, to ensure the seamless integration of sheet metal components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal installation or a related field
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions
This is a temporary, full-time position that will involve working on-site at various residential and commercial properties. The work environment can be physically demanding, with exposure to noise, dust, and other construction-related hazards. Flexibility in schedule and the ability to work overtime may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate of $28-34 per hour. Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
