Payne & Tompkins is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple high-end residential remodeling projects while mentoring the next generation of project leaders.

What You'll Do
- Manage multiple residential remodeling projects simultaneously from preconstruction through completion.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing exceptional communication and customer service throughout each project.
- Coordinate and manage trade partners, subcontractors, inspections, and daily jobsite activities.
- Conduct routine jobsite visits to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact project schedules.
- Build and maintain project schedules, daily logs, and project documentation using Buildertrend.
- Manage purchase orders, change orders, project budgets, and financial tracking.
- Oversee permitting, inspections, safety compliance, and OSHA standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications while assisting with field solutions as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation including timekeeping, safety records, material tracking, inspections, and project closeout information.
- Work closely with in-house designers to ensure construction aligns with project specifications.
- Lead onsite client meetings, trade partner meetings, and building inspections.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites throughout each phase of construction.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and interns.
- Participate in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and developing future team members.
- Foster Payne & Tompkins' culture and core values throughout every project and client interaction.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 4–6+ years of relevant construction experience, with residential field experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, structural systems, and building materials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while balancing schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Leadership experience with mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and trade partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Buildertrend (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to occasionally perform physical jobsite tasks related to project management and site organization.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
