Sunstream Boat Lifts is seeking a skilled canvas fabricator, seamstress, or industrial sewer experienced in working with marine-grade materialsused in Sunstream’s premium automated boat covering systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with industrial sewing equipment, and a passion for quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Sew, assemble, and finish marine-grade canvas covers according to specifications
- Operate and maintain walking-foot and long-arm industrial sewing machines used for marine canvas and upholstery fabrication.
- Utilize automated cutting equipment to prepare materials for production
- Read and follow patterns, templates, and production drawings
- Inspect completed covers for accuracy, fit, and high-quality workmanship
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily and weekly targets
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Contribute to process improvements and uphold Sunstream’s quality standards
- Help in other departments as needed
Who You Are
- Experienced & Skilled – 2+ years of sewing experience, ideally with heavy or marine-grade fabrics
- Technically Capable – Comfortable with industrial sewing machines and basic material handling tools
- Detail-Oriented – Focused on precision and craftsmanship
- Reliable & Self-Motivated – Takes ownership of work and follows through on commitments
- Team Player – Works well with others in a collaborative production environment
- Physically Capable – Able to lift and move materials up to 40 lbs as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with marine canvas, upholstery, or awning fabrication
- Knowledge of materials such as Sunbrella, vinyl, or similar fabrics
- Pattern-making or fitting experience
- Familiarity with automated cut tables or CNC-driven fabric cutters
