Project Manager – Commercial Construction
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from award through final completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project timelines.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to ensure accurate execution.
- Lead project planning meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs, track budgets, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Prepare and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to maintain project schedules.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Identify project risks early and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate daily construction activities and maintain project momentum.
- Maintain accurate project reporting and provide regular updates to ownership and clients.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, contract requirements, and company quality standards.
- Successfully manage project closeout, punch lists, final documentation, and warranty requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent commercial construction experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project administration.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
