Journeyman Electrician

```Duties forJourneyman Electrician ```
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install and troubleshoot electrical components such as motors, transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and control panels
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Identify electrical problems and implement effective solutions to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

- Proficient in all aspects of electrical work including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience working with schematics, logic controllers, and industrial electrician practices
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and commercial electrician work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficient in the use of power tools for electrical work
- Knowledge of low voltage systems for residential applications
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
