Your Role
As a Journeyman Service Plumber, you’ll represent the best of General Mechanical in our customers’ homes and businesses. You’ll diagnose, repair, and replace residential and Commercial plumbing systems while delivering world-class service and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to service calls and conduct thorough inspections
- Diagnose issues accurately and present effective solutions and estimates
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.)
- Complete work efficiently, safely, and to code
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate paperwork
- Communicate clearly with customers and teammates
- Participating in company meetings and ongoing training

Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Plumbing License
- Valid MA Driver’s License
- Minimum 3–5 years’ service plumbing experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow plumbing codes
- Comfortable using power tools and maintaining safe practices
- Desire to keep learning and growing within the trade
