Smith Solutions Plumbing is seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Massachusetts-licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our small, family-owned business. We’re looking for someone with experience in residential service, remodels, and new construction, as well as light commercial plumbing.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes and light commercial properties
- Perform rough and finish plumbing for remodels, additions, and new construction
- Diagnose plumbing issues, explain repair options, and complete work efficiently
- Read blueprints and follow project plans
- Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and effectively
- Complete work in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and work vehicle
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license
- At least 3 years of residential or light commercial plumbing experience
- Experience with service work, remodels, and new construction
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with gas piping, heating systems, or HVAC coordination is a plus
