Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Foreman and lead the successful execution of small and large-scale concrete projects. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, manage crews, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint reading, and crew supervision will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all concrete construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations
- Proven skills and experience using Bobcat or CAT skid steers.
- Manage and direct teams of laborers and subcontractors, fostering a productive and safe work environment
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately
- Oversee the preparation of formwork, reinforcement placement, pouring, finishing, and curing processes for concrete structures
- Conduct quality control inspections to meet industry standards and client specifications while maintaining OSHA and federal safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising concrete or heavy civil construction projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction schedules effectively
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to enforce safety protocols consistently
- Demonstrated crew management skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong communication skills for effective management of laborers and vendors
- Familiarity with construction estimating, budgeting, quality control procedures, and managing contracts
- MUST REQUIREMENT: be able to Grade with a Bobcat, Form, Pour, and Finish a Concrete Job. The crew depends on you to be a leader!
