.We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and troubleshooting a wide range of household appliances directly at customer locations. Your expertise will ensure appliances are set up correctly, operate efficiently, and meet customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge while providing exceptional customer service. As an Appliance Installer, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction through professional installation and support.
Duties
- Safely deliver appliances using company vehicles such as box trucks or similar equipment to customer sites.
- Install appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units following schematics and technical instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and ladder systems to assemble and secure appliances according to manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing problems and performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams to ensure proper setup and operation of appliances.
- Conduct quality checks post-installation to verify appliance functionality and safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for the customer.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with appliance repair, installation, or field service roles involving mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, plumbing connections, electrical work, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics, ladder use for electrical wiring or mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely including box trucks; valid driver’s license required.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), or in a service technician capacity is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance during installations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members while providing clear instructions or explanations.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
