You would also be expected to pull permits with the respective cities/town the work is to be performed in.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential construction sites using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting of plumbing components.
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-free connections and durable installations.
- Conduct remodeling projects by updating or replacing existing plumbing fixtures and systems according to project plans.
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair tasks while following proper ergonomic practices.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules, ensure safety compliance, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong construction site experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair.
- Proficiency in construction plumbing techniques including pipe threading, schematics reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, HVAC systems, and assembly processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers; familiar with power tools for heavy-duty tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and understand technical schematics for complex plumbing layouts.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing, flow rates, and material quantities.
- Experience with carpentry or handyman tasks that complement plumbing work during remodeling or construction projects.
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques necessary for handling large pipes or equipment safely on-site.
