Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local codes and regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on projects involving frame carpentry and other construction tasks.
Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all electrical work.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Ten or more years of experience as an Electrician.
Ability to effectively work with and lead a team of employees.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations.
Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in various environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines without compromising safety or workmanship.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
