Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC/R Service Technician-Light Commercial to join our team! In this vital role, you will deliver top-tier service for a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in light commercial settings. Duties
- Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment and mechanical systems in light commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics, mechanical malfunctions, and refrigeration issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters
- Read and interpret HVAC design plans, schematics, and building automation systems to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation of all work performed for quality assurance and customer records.
- Provide excellent customer service
Skills
- Extensive construction experience combined with strong service technician background in HVAC/R systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, electrical systems, and building automation controls.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system repair, maintenance practices, and equipment troubleshooting including refrigeration systems
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters; capable of electrical system repair and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- EPA certification required for refrigerant handling; knowledge of HVAC/R codes and safety standards essential.
- Able to pass background and drug test.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
