creating basic material take offs and ordering materials;
interpreting and building standard construction assemblies from architectural and structural drawings;
understanding basic sizing of structural members and standard connection details;
applying knowledge of basic structural concepts;
management of portions of on-site activities of the residential construction process, including management of carpenter and/or laborer's when required.
