Mechanical Design Engineer
Successful and growing consulting firm is seeking a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Bachelor of Science in engineering degree from an accredited university
- 4 +years practical experience with mechanical design, specifically on commercial projects (restaurant/ retail, etc.)
- FE/EIT highly preferred
- On the path to becoming a PE preferred
- HVAC design including heat load calculations, system layout and duct sizing
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 or newer
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
Daily activities will consist of :
- Working with senior engineering team members in the technical execution of the assigned project duties
- Assist the project team in the production of projects, balancing deadlines and budgets to maintain the highest quality
- Assist senior staff in the development of technical construction documents including drawings and specifications
- Under appropriate supervision, actively practice engineering calculations and perform system designs

Base Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
