Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Technician / Reefer Mechanic
Position Type: Full-time, On-site
Target Pay Range: Typically $27.00 to $40.00/hour depending on experience
About the Role
Extreme Mobile Services is seeking a motivated ThermoKing and Carrier Refer Technician. As a technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration units on trucks, and trailers. In addition, you will also perform emergency repairs, and routine inspections on various refrigeration units.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on ThermoKing and Carrier refrigeration systems.
- Inspect refrigeration units to identify mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair status to management.
- Write invoices within a timely manner
- Operate mobile service vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety policies and industry regulations during service calls.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with ThermoKing and Carrier refrigeration units (at least 1 year).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile, field-service environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
