Summit HVAC & Construction is a family-owned HVAC company serving Midlothian and the surrounding DFW area. We are known for honest service, quality workmanship, and treating both our customers and employees with respect.

We're looking for someone who wants to learn the HVAC trade and build a long-term career. Experience is helpful, but attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are far more important.

You'll work directly alongside experienced technicians and the company owners while learning residential and light commercial HVAC service, maintenance, repair, and installation.

What You'll Do

Assist with residential and light commercial HVAC service calls
Help perform seasonal maintenance and system inspections
Assist with equipment installations and replacements
Learn diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
Communicate professionally with customers
Complete job documentation using Housecall Pro
Continue developing technical knowledge through on-the-job training and manufacturer education

What We're Looking For

Professional appearance and communication
Strong work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in attics and outdoor conditions

Preferred (but not required)

0–3 years of HVAC experience
EPA Certification
Trade school education
Basic mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with hand tools

Schedule

Monday–Friday
Typical start time between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM
Approximately 40 hours per week
Overtime available during peak season
Occasional weekend work during busy periods

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ductwork: 1 year (Preferred)
HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
