Position Overview: As an Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the service, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various refrigeration and at times HVAC systems. Your primary focus will be on light commercial equipment such as walk-in coolers & freezers, sandwich stations, ice machines, reach-in refrigerators & freezers, etc.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Service, diagnose and repair light industrial commercial refrigeration systems, such as walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, sandwich prep stations, reach-ins/stand-ins, display coolers, under the counter refrigerators, etc.
Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of repairs and service recommendations.
Communicate with back office daily to confirm scheduling, job requirements, job summaries, etc.
Maintain a clean vehicle, job site, and always keep a professional appearance.
Manage assigned work to meet deadlines and customer expectations in a timely manner.
Keep accurate records of work, including parts used, time spent, customer information, etc.
Always comply with company, industry, and customer safety policies/standards.
Not required, but a big plus: HVAC responsibilities include servicing gas furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, mini-split systems, roof top units and wiring controls.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of refrigeration service and install experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
Demonstrate communication and excellent customer service skills.
Basic electrical and wiring experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to climb a ladder for roof top units.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
