Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced in commercial, and RI licensed, Journeyman HVAC technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. As a Journeyman HVAC technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various HVAC issues. Our work is 95% commercial/industrial and our repeat customers are primarily referral based. Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC problems and provide solutions for repair.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters, checking fluid levels, and testing electrical components.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of work performed on mobile app.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure the best possible service.
- Be available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Qualifications:
- Journeyman HVAC license in Rhode Island.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a clean driving record, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
