We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating aluminum boats and trailers
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate boats and trailers
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques while adhering to safety codes and standards.
- Measure and cut materials accurately using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Assemble fabricated components into finished products, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with various power tools and hand tools used in fabrication and welding processes.
- Strong knowledge of stick welding techniques and applicable codes/standards.
- Ability to accurately measure materials using micrometers and calipers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assembly tasks.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on construction sites.
- Commitment to safety practices in a construction environment.
