Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrician specializing in Industrial and Critical Infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring, low voltage controls, and commercial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and advanced electrical diagnostics equipment.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and protocols.
- Lead the installation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components critical to industrial operations.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on electrical infrastructure within construction sites or renovation projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with all safety standards, including NFPA 70 compliance for industrial electrical work.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics reading skills, and blueprint interpretation to complete precise electrical work efficiently.
- Document work performed through detailed reports and logs while maintaining safety records in accordance with industry standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial electrical systems; minimum of several years working on large-scale industrial or critical infrastructure projects.
- Extensive background in commercial electrician work within construction sites or renovation environments.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters effectively.
- Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for diverse systems including automation controls like PLCs.
- Skilled in high-voltage wiring installation and maintenance; capable of working safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by construction or renovation projects.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, frame carpentry basics, handyman skills, and schematic interpretation necessary for comprehensive electrical work.

Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour
