Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Install new HVAC systems following design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct plumbing and mechanical work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting, brazing, and component replacement.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and refrigeration gauges for system diagnostics.
- Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC design principles.
- Hands-on experience with the refrigeration cycle (HVAC/R).
- Familiarity with construction processes and ability to read schematics accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment repair.
- Field service experience working on air conditioning units & ventilation systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of mechanical tools such as ohmmeters and experience in troubleshooting electrical components within HVAC systems. Join us in delivering top-tier climate control solutions! Pay: $26.80 - $32.27 per hour
