Position Summary
Branco Construction Inc. has an immediate opening for Project Superintendent in the Central Valley and San Francisco Bay Area, CA. In need of someone who has prior construction management experience and substantial knowledge in most areas of construction. We are looking for someone who is proactive with a positive attitude, committed to promoting a working relationship with clients and subcontractors, able to lead and organize field crews, and can be a working supervisor if needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, has integrity and values producing quality work; a self-starter who can take ownership and use independent judgement. Ideal candidate will understand project delivery, time management, and how to deal with unanticipated events and unforeseen conditions. Above all, they must have strong ethical standards and fulfill client commitments.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily job site operations from project startup through completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Maintain project schedules and monitor progress.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections and obtain required approvals.
- Communicate project updates with Project Managers, clients, architects, and inspectors.
- Identify and resolve field issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain daily reports, job logs, and project documentation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Travel is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
- Experience managing commercial tenant improvements, renovations, and/or ground-up construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
