Position Overview

SRB Plumbing and Heating is seeking a skilled and professional Plumbing Journeyman to join our team. You will be responsible for executing high-quality bathroom and kitchen renovations while maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills by mentoring apprentices and growing within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Execute complete bathroom and kitchen renovation projects from start to finish, including installation of fixtures, piping, and drainage systems
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute renovation work
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on plumbing systems with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards
Oversee and mentor apprentices, providing hands-on training and guidance in plumbing techniques and safety protocols
Coordinate with project managers, homeowners, and other trades to ensure seamless project completion
Maintain and manage tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety
Document work completed and communicate project status and concerns to management
Maintain a professional demeanor, work ethic, and commitment to customer service

Required Qualifications

Active New Hampshire Journeyman License
Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience
Proficiency in residential plumbing systems and renovation work
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with bathroom and kitchen renovation projects
Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices
Expertise in modern water efficiency and sustainability practices

Physical Requirements

This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, bending, crouching, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Physical stamina and dexterity are essential.
