Our client is seeking a Mid-level or Sr Electrical Engineer to design, develop, validate, and support electrical systems for advanced safety control products. This role requires expertise in mixed-signal hardware, power electronics, PCB development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable products from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, including Ethernet, I²C, SPI, and UART interfaces.
- Develop schematics using Altium, review PCB layouts, perform simulations, and support board bring-up and hardware validation.
- Analyze signal integrity, EMI/RFI, thermal performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot hardware using standard laboratory equipment.
- Support production through design changes, component obsolescence, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with firmware, software, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen or US Perm Resident and live within commuting distance to our client's office in the Woburn, MA area.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4-20 years of experience.
- Experience with the full PCBA development lifecycle, including design, validation, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of mixed-signal design, signal integrity, EMI/RFI mitigation, and hardware troubleshooting. Power electronics experience is helpful
- Experience with PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB (or equivalent), and schematic capture/PCB design tools. Altium experience is a plus.
