Austin, TX | $80,000–$100,000 + Bonus + Monthly Vehicle & Gas Allowance

We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial mechanical construction projects throughout the Austin and Central Texas market. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer or early-career Assistant Project Manager looking to grow into a Project Manager role while working on complex HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP construction projects.

What You Will Do

Assist Project Managers with the execution of commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
Support project scheduling, procurement, budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting.
Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, fabrication teams, and project stakeholders.
Review project drawings and specifications to support successful project execution.
Track material deliveries, equipment procurement, and project milestones.
Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 1 year of experience supporting commercial mechanical construction projects.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical contracting projects.
Basic understanding of construction documentation, project scheduling, and cost tracking.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction software is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license.
