Refrigeration Service Technician
A growing commercial refrigeration construction/service company is looking for immediate hire, a full-time REFRIGERATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN. The ideal candidate will need to have at least 5 years of commercial refrigeration experience, be dependable, a team player, and have good attendance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial refrigeration work experience (EPA 608 certification required)
- Must be willing to travel and work occasional overtime/weekend hours.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Preferred training includes: OSHA 10 card, scissor cert, reach lift cert, CPR & First aid.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform service, installation, preventative maintenance on all types of refrigeration equipment.
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs
- Perform start up on equipment and machines
- Electrical troubleshooting
- AC repairs
- Recovery and reclaiming
- Drain repairs, change motors, clean coils
- Complete work orders and paperwork in a timely manner
- Ability to weld and pipe fit is a plus!
- Other miscellaneous tasks
Qualifications:
- Certified in EPA 608 (Type 2 or Universal)
- Previous experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration or other related fields
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Strong customer relations skills

- Depends on experience level
