Overview
Join a dynamic welding fabrication company as a Project Manager, where you will lead and oversee building of stainless and carbon steel skids for tight aerospace specifications from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality fabrication and construction solutions. As a key driver of project success, you will utilize your management expertise to navigate specification requirements, control budgets, and uphold safety standards across all phases of construction. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of welding fabrication and construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using project management software to coordinate all phases of construction activities.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and procurement processes while ensuring adherence to project specifications
- Supervise project teams on-site by managing schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow through effective time management.
- Work closely with the management to plan strategy for process improvements
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing steel fabrication projects preferably in aerospace industry
- Strong knowledge of specification standards, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements within the industry.
- Proficiency in project management software
- Skilled in reading blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules
- Excellent cost management skills
- Effective leadership skills in managing teams on-site and coordinating multiple stakeholders across complex projects.
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety certification or PMP (Project Management Professional) are desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
