Flowline Solutions LLC is looking for a dependable and motivated Hot Tap & Line Stop Technician Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning a specialized trade and developing a career in industrial piping and pipeline services.
The apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians and receive hands-on training in hot tapping, line stopping, insertion valves, pipe freezing, and related field services.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with hot tap and line stop operations
- Learn to safely operate specialized hot tapping and line stopping equipment
- Assist with pipe freeze operations and equipment setup
- Assist with installation of valves, fittings, and piping components
- Assist with welding and weld-o-let fitting installations
- Load, unload, clean, and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow job-site safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Travel to customer job sites throughout Texas
- Work outdoors and in various industrial and construction environments
- Learn specialized skills and procedures through on-the-job training
Qualifications
- No previous hot tap or line stop experience required
- Mechanical, construction, plumbing, welding, or industrial experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Safety-minded and professional
- Able to lift and handle tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must be willing to travel throughout Texas
