Blue Terra Design is a small and agile design, build, and remodel business in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to our kitchen and bath remodeling projects, we take on a wide variety of projects ranging from custom pieces to light commercial work. Candidates need to be willing and able to perform demolition and general labor in addition to being highly proficient at all aspects of interior trim & finish carpentry. Framing experience is a plus. Candidates should have experience in construction and trim work. A background in remodeling is preferred.

The starting pay for this position will be based on the individual’s experience with regular pay increases based on job performance. This position offers the following benefits:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Cabinet installation
Finish trim carpentry
Read and interpret construction plans
Installing built ins & custom furniture
Prepare project for work provided by subcontractors
Work with project manager throughout the project
Framing (limited)
Cabinet building experience is a plus

REQUIREMENTS

Skilled with hand and power tools
Provide own tool belt and hand tools (other tools will be provided)
The willingness to learn
Strong work ethic
Clean driving record
Ability to drive to work site
Pride in workmanship
Professionalism in appearance and attitude
Must play well with others
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
